“Every Man has to adopt some occupation in order to earn his livelihood. In the traditional society of our country, hereditary system was prevalent in the choice of profession ,Consequently different segments of the society were denominated with particular profession being adopted by its members. One of such segment of the society having sharp aptiude towards technology engaged in the manufacture of armaments , machinery, tools and equipments of iron and wood, was called as Ahangers or Najjar. Although in modern society, this community have achieved tremendous development and its members representing in each sphere of life like good businessman ,senior executives and intellectuals yet still clinching to their hereditary profession and are proud of being called virtually “Born Engineers,” in the society which they deserve indeed. The said community has adopted the surname”Saifi” in the year of 1975. The members of saifi community reside in every village, town and city in sizable numbers of several millions in our country.

ALL INDIA JAMAAT – E- SAIFIA AND ITS ACTIVITIES

An organization known as All India Jamate Saifia was established by some well-wishers of Saifi Community on the advice of Maulana Farqaleet on 6th April, 1975. Mr. Ghulam Jeelani Saifi an industrialist of Meerut was nominated as first president of All India Jamaat-e-Saifia similarly other office bearers were also nominated as Noor Ahmed Saifi Delhi (V.President), Dr.Z.Ahmad Aligarh (V.President), Abdul Wahid Saifi Muzaffarnagar (V.President), Mukhtar Ahmed Saifi Advocate Moradabad (Gen.Secy.), Abdul Wahab Meerut (Office Secy.), Aftab Ahmed Saifi Amroha (Jt.Secy.), Abdul Mubin Saifi Moradabad (Treasurer) and others.

Some leading persons had started claiming the credit indivisually, for establishing Jamat, someone declared as founder of the All India Jamate Saifia, while others managed separate registration of a parallel Jamat. Some of the claimants for the credit started mud slinging and character assassination on each other. Some of them had brought Fatwa also against Mehruddin and others and Vice-versa. Some vested interest had indulged in levelling allegations and counter allegations simply to cow down each other. I was posted at Jama Masjid and all these persons sought my intervention to reconcile the differences. I have also been trying my level best to sort out their differences. A meeting was also convened in Delhi Public Library Hall where rival groups were invited. It was with the grace of Almighty Allah that we succeeded in reconciling the differences.  More...
